Our Mission
Founded 2022 by a trio of High School rowers who frequently pratice on the Oakland estuary, our mission is to rid the water and shores of the Oakland waterway of any garbage and create a safer community in the process.

The Plan
Smaller Events
Even a couple of us can have a huge difference. We host smaller cleanups almost every weekend with a consistent group of people.
Larger Events
About once a month we host big community events where anyone is able to help out. Dates are posted online a week before with the location and time.
City Advocacy
Most of the land we cleanup is property of the City of Oakland. Involving the local government and community is important to the longevity and effectiveness of the organization.
Water Events
A key goal of our organization is specifically to cleanup the trash that directly enters the water and the nearby shore. As rowers we see the damage first hand so much of our work will focus on shoreline cleanups.
